In August 2026, Dr. Danilo Rodrigues Pereira, Founder and Lead Researcher of GLOBE-GenAI, visited the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) in Australia, where he met with Prof. Dr. Damian Maher.
During the visit, they discussed the development of GLOBE-GenAI, the objectives of the international study and, in particular, strategies to expand the network of participating researchers and institutions in Australia and other countries across Oceania. They also explored opportunities to increase the project's visibility in the region and establish new academic connections.
The visit reinforced a principle that has guided GLOBE-GenAI from its earliest stages: building a global network through dialogue, scientific cooperation and connections among researchers from different countries and cultures.
