On June 23, 2026, Dr. Danilo Rodrigues Pereira, a researcher at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), visited the University of Southampton Delhi campus in India for a meeting focused on strengthening international scientific collaboration.
The meeting brought together Prof. Vaibhav Gandhi and Prof. Sagaya Amalathas from the University of Southampton Delhi, and Prof. Ruohan Tang from the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom. The researchers discussed opportunities for cooperation within the GLOBE-GenAI network and potential future joint initiatives.
Danilo presented the international project “Global Perspectives of Students on Learning with Generative Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education: A Cross-Cultural Study”, which investigates university students' perspectives and experiences regarding the use of Generative AI in Higher Education.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss the participation of the University of Southampton Delhi in the initiative and potential collaborations involving the Indian student community, strengthening the project's presence in India.
The visit represented another step in the development of the GLOBE-GenAI international network, showing how in-person meetings can create new connections and open pathways for research, publications and other collaborative scientific activities.
